The idea for Festivalive began in early 2013 when guitarist / solo artist Rich Ayala brought together some of Sacramento’s best musicians who shared a desire to play new music inspired by the sounds of Santana, and funk bands of the 70’s. The result is a fiery Latin sound mixed with Funk creating a festival of music that is full of life. The band features guitar, bass, vocals, keys, drums and percussion

Felipe Ferraz, JoAnne Craig-Ferraz, & Klaudia Promessi combine for their unique version of Brazilian folk music.
Over the Edge is the dynamic trio of Dave Holob on electric violin and vocals, Adam Gottstein, guitar and vocals and Joe Bellamy on bass. Based in the western slope foothills of Amador County, east of Sacramento, we feature mostly original music with a strong emphasis on Latin-based rhythms while not ignoring our jazz, blues, rockabilly and traditional roots.

Darcel's first love (musically) is the blues, but she has found it impossible to pigeonhole herself into just one style. Basically, it comes down to whether a song does it for her, and when she bring an original spin to it, her audience is entertained. Some of the songs are originals that Darcel's husband Pat and she wrote. Others are songs written by others that Darcel has found on her musical journey.
A Divine Affair

The 4th Annual A Divine Affair partnering with the Amador Vintner’s Association returns to the Grand Oak Ballroom and Garden Terrace for an evening meant to thrill the senses. This event features award winning Amador County wine for you to taste, divine chocolate, flavorful olive oil and cigar tastings and food pairings from Jackson Rancheria highlighting Fondue, Charcuterie and Cheese, Extraordinary Desserts, Amador County’s Largest Paella and our special Deep Pit BBQ. We also welcome the New Glory Brewery from Sacramento as the only craft brewery to showcase their selections. Enjoy tasting and experiencing all of Amador County’s most enriching flavors at A Divine Affair.

Herb Boxhorn, guitarist and vocalist, brings his own unique styles combining his background of folk, blues, finger-picking, Jazz and Latin into an eclectic mix truly his own. Performing regionally for over 30 years, Herb puts his signature on many Jazz standards and contemporary tunes. Enriching the sounds of this duo is saxophonist, Klaudia Promessi. Klaudia has toured and performed in Bay Area bands playing Latin Jazz, R and B, Soul and original music.

Legal Addition is led by singer/bassist Rod Marlin, who grew up playing rock n' roll & bluegrass, honing his guitar skills and developing his soulful voice. He teams up with drummer Randy Riche, Nina Shaull on saxophone and flute, and guitarist Dave Gateley. Legal Addiction is a talented cover band which, after hearing them, makes you want to go back home and listen to all of those classic songs again...and again..and again.

He has been voted three times Entertainer of the Year, three times Male Performer of the Year and twice Songwriter of the Year by the Western Music Association, and received the Will Rogers Award from the Academy of Western Artists. He’s delighted audiences in twenty states, and finds that he prefers this to being stomped by angry horses.
