2011 was a challenging growing season, with unseasonal rains and mild growing season. Everything has been harvested, and the vineyard has been treated to new organic compost and newly planted cover crops for the winter. This will provide the nutrients for next season's growing season. BellaGrace won a California State Fair Gold medal for its 2009 Zinfandel
and a Silver medal for its 2009 Vermentino, and won medals for every
wine that was entered at the Amador County Fair event. Other wineries that purchase our grapes have made medal-winning wines, including a 2010 California State Fair double gold and "best white wine" awarded to Casque Wines for their 2009 Vermentino!
